What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler position at Valence Surface Technologies, LLC?
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Bond and assemble aerospace components according to blueprints and specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
- Responsible for reading process charts, work orders, and specifications to determine sequence of bonding operations, the amount of bonding agent to be applied, and areas to be bonded.
- Ensure inventory of hardware and supplies are maintained and accounted for.
- Ensure all equipment used for assembly is in proper working order.
- Complete Daily Check List
- Complete and retain all applicable inspection data sheets.
- Ensure that parts are complete and ready for over inspection:
- EX: Thickness, touch up, cleanliness, routers complete, etc.
- Daily check of liquid Nitrogen
- Ensure Assembly tools are accounted for and secured daily.
