Valence Surface Technologies is a full-service surface finishing company specializing in the commercial aerospace, defense, space and satellite industries. With ten strategically located sites across the United States, Valence provides a start to finish solution from NDT and chemical processing, to paint and sub-assembly.
Position Summary:
Responsible for ensuring that the production process is run in a smooth and rapid manner.
Responsibilities
- Process parts in chemical tanks according to specifications, work order and other requirements.
- Calculates the appropriate amount of time needed to process parts.
- Removes parts from tank after specified time, rinses parts and immerse them in bath before finishing processing.
- Completes paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines.
- Oversee and assist all line assistants to optimize throughput.
- Evaluate and log all preventative maintenance on processing line.
- Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience a plus, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
