Position Summary
Responsible for removing masking materials from aerospace components after various processing operations, ensuring that all masking materials are carefully and completely removed without damaging the components, maintaining the integrity and quality of the final product.

Responsible for removing masking materials from aerospace components after various processing operations, ensuring that all masking materials are carefully and completely removed without damaging the components, maintaining the integrity and quality of the final product.
- Responsibilities
- Carefully remove masking materials such as tapes, plugs, and liquid masks from aerospace components according to detailed specifications and procedures.
- Inspect components after demasking to ensure all masking materials have been removed and that the components meet quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of demasking processes, including materials removed and time spent on each task.
- Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and quality control personnel to ensure seamless workflow and high-quality output.
- Maintain and clean demasking tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in demasking or a related field, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
