Position Summary:
Responsible for preparing aerospace components for various processing operations, including painting, coating, and chemical treatments, by applying masking materials to protect specific areas of components from exposure to processing materials, ensuring precision and quality in the final product.

Responsibilities
- Apply masking materials such as tapes, plugs, and liquid masks to aerospace components according to detailed specifications and blueprints.
- Inspect components before and after masking to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of masking processes, including materials used and time spent on each task.
- Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and quality control personnel to ensure seamless workflow and high-quality output.
- Maintain and clean masking tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in masking or a related field, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
