Job Overview:

Report to Production Manager

Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 1st Shift

Valence Surface Technologies production is open 24 hours per day. All shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday – Friday, 5:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday – Friday, 1:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.), 3rd shift (Sunday – Friday, 9:00 p.m. - 5:30 a.m.)

Essential Functions:

• Received and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers. 
• Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received.
• Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
• May operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplied and equipment.
• Follows established department policies, procedures and objectives, continuous quality improvement, objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Education - High Schol Graduate or General Education Degree (Required)
• Experience - No experience required.

• Compensation Range $17.50 to $ 19.82 per hour (DOE) Shift differential for 2nd shift

Work Environment

Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather conditions. Due to the manufacturing environment, Personal Protection Equipment may be required including safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, and a respirator (provided by Company).
