What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technologist (Internship) position at Valence?
An internship opportunity with VST allows you to experience on the job, supervised training. Selected individuals will be involved in New Product Introduction (NPI) and research and development activities, while receiving mentoring and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Preferred backgrounds are those on a track to attain either associates or bachelors degrees or a technical certificate.
- Interns must be currently enrolled in or have graduated with a technical degree or technical certificate, preferably in chemistry, metallurgy, engineering or materials science.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Compensation: $16 -$27 depending on location
