General Position Description
Provides leadership for all grant activities of the Osceola County YouthBuild program, which assists students with earning their high school diploma and provides opportunities for career training and job placement. Under the leadership of the Director of Youth Programs & Services, this position will be responsible for the development and implementation of grant deliverables, data analysis and reporting requirements, and evaluation of project outcomes. Collaborates with leadership in Continuing Education to ensure all program goals and strategies are met in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. Exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance daily.

Essential Job Functions
Description of Job Function
Serves as the primary point of contact for the Osceola County YouthBuild program. Directs, administers, and manages services for at-risk youth obtaining their high school diploma, developing academic occupational skills, requiring additional support services, and transitioning to a post-secondary environment.

Assists in leadership, planning, and implementation of all grant-funded activities. Manages all project activities to ensure that all objectives and goals are met within budget and time constraints.

Monitors student enrollment, progress, and program completion. Provides case-management and holistic support to students, which may involve referring students to appropriate services, both on and off campus. Identifies community resources and establishes collaborative partnerships.

Supports the submission of program data for quarterly and annual reports in collaboration with Director of Youth Programs and Services and the Office of Resource Development to meet reporting requirements as outlined in the grant agreement and/or contract.

Communicates and collaborates with faculty, staff, employers, and industry partners through routine meetings and taskforces to meet grant objectives and develop activities and resources to support the success of students in the program.

Responsible for managing assigned budget. Ensures that all grant partners submit invoices and appropriate documentation. Works with the Office of Grants Accounting to ensure compliance of expenditures and appropriate utilization of funds. Complies with all Procurement requirements, as appropriate

Required Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution, or any equivalent combination of related education, training, and/or experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions.

Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience with program and case management; project management; contract development; data analysis and reporting; and grant and budget management.
