This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and within the community staffed by professional and student staff members. The individual in this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets, die cut machines, laminators, and fax machines. Some position responsibilities require tasks outside of the office, in either a classroom setting, programming venue, or outdoors.
While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Typical physical competencies include but are not limited to frequently remaining stationary, moving, reaching, positioning self and occasionally ascending/descending, lifting/moving objects weighing between 25 pounds. This job also entails frequently communicating, discerning and exchanging information, detecting and perceiving objects up close, at a distance, and the ability to adjust focus. Essential Job Functions
Description of Job Function
- Coordinates the daily aspect of the Osceola Prosper program to ensure students are supported through the enrollment process and transition successfully into the college.
- Supports a variety of department projects and initiatives, including managing student call campaigns, presentations, events, and workshops.
- Hires, supervises, and trains the Enrollment Outreach Ambassadors. Guides, evaluates, and delegates work, ensuring compliance with applicable rules, laws, and guidelines.
- Regularly reviews reports to determine areas in the enrollment process that require outreach and support. Troubleshoots, triages, and refers students to appropriate resources to support their academic success.
- Works with the Director to collect and analyze data, compile statistical reports, and presents program results as requested. Ensures effectiveness of solutions and program impact through on-going assessment and evaluation.
- Coordinates and collaborates with the Enrollment Outreach team to ensure that all Osceola Prosper inquires are answered and resolved in a timely manner.
- Implements record-keeping procedures and manages appropriate department records in accordance with applicable regulations, policies, and standards.
- Provides monthly department status reports to track all activities, projects and work conducted as requested by college leadership.
- Assists with ensuring that all information is routinely updated, accurate and consistent on all Osceola Prosper platforms, including the website and the learning management system.
- In collaboration with the Director, plans and provides training opportunities for student leaders and other college staff in support of the goals of Osceola Prosper.
- Serves as a point of contact for inquiries regarding Osceola Prosper to students, faculty, staff and community partners.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
