Compensation : $21-$26 / hr base pay DOE, $23-$29 / hr with annual bonus eligibility

Job Summary : This employee is responsible for the inspection of all incoming materials used for the manufacturing of the VTC products.
Responsibilities / Tasks : As a Receiving Inspector, you will be responsible for :
- Performing inspection on incoming product using Receiving Inspection Instructions
- Providing specialty in the inspection of high criticality parts.
- Utilizing various inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to determine the acceptability of parts and materials.
- Understanding and using measurement equipment (Smartscopes) for the measurement of incoming material.
- Performing First Article inspections as needed.
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications, using knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.
- Assisting in the inspection techniques and methods to aid with the implementation of RIIs or tool inspections
- Completing required paperwork for routing acceptable parts to stock.
- Segregating nonconforming materials and accepted materials accordingly.
- Completing documents in a legible, detailed, and comprehensive manner.
- Monitoring the preservation of Receiving Inspection inventory.
- Communicate with supply chain and engineering on quality issues
- Assist Quality Engineers with follow up on the execution of NCMR, CAPA(Corrective Action and Preventive Action) investigations as needed.
- Identifies workmanship and material defects and initiates nonconforming material reports (NCMR's)
- Assisting with projects as needed.
