Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents/patients in a healthcare facility
- Follow dietary restrictions and guidelines provided by healthcare professionals
- Sanitize work areas and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing salads, and cooking simple dishes
- Bussing tables and cleaning dining areas after meals
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices
- Provide excellent customer service to residents/patients and address any concerns or special requests
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital or nursing home setting
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent customer service skills
