Armed Security Officer (Part-Time)
MUST HAVE CURRENT VALID ACT 235 CERTIFICATION
Valentis Group Inc, is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property.
- Work location is in Community Housing - Pittsburgh, PA (may also help with upcoming seasonal community events in the Pittsburgh, PA area)
- Schedule will require 16-20 hours per week; must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred to have own weapon, duty belt and gear (handcuffs, OC, etc.)
- Must have a current valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must have a clean criminal record; pass a background check; and pass drug testing.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of clients and their property.
- Monitor and control access to restricted areas.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed.
- Complete detailed reports on incidents and activities during each shift
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
Mandatory company-paid training is required in Pittsburgh, PA.
