About Our Opportunity
As an Enterprise IT Technician, you will provide IT support remotely to end users. You'll help create IT documentation and SOP creation while playing an important role in resolving end user issues and escalating when necessary. You’ll closely collaborate with the rest of Enterprise IT team to guarantee prompt and efficient support for Vālenz staff, ensuring their needs are met in a timely manner.
Things You’ll Do Here:
- Resolve end user issues related to systems, applications, and hardware.
- Provide remote IT support for Vālenz staff and executives while providing a great user experience.
- Utilize internal ticketing platform to monitor and handle IT support requests submitted by Vālenz users. Escalate IT tickets to higher level technicians and other teams as necessary.
- Diagnose and resolve system wide issues with Office 365, encryption tools, endpoint management and application access.
- Focus on understanding and meeting the needs of internal and external customers, ensuring that IT solutions and services align with business objectives and deliver value to end-users via phone, email and computer chat.
- Technical Proficiency
- Install, make changes, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Assist in the administration of Microsoft Intune.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues and challenges efficiently.
- Manage accounts in systems such as EntraID, Active Directory and other cloud services.
- Manage Microsoft 365 and Teams Voice system.
- IT Documentation & SOP creation
- Create and maintain standard operating procedure documentation for IT department.
- Help build end user wiki for self-service.
- Migrate and update existing documentation to new platform.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Experience providing support in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
- 2 years of experience in a Support Tech role with experience supporting on-site and remotely.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365 administration.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and applications, as well as Apple iOS and Android.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and facilitate productive interactions between IT and business units.
A plus if you have:
- Knowledge of infrastructure components, such as servers, storage systems, network devices, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Active Directory
- Experience with MDM and RMM tools, specifically Microsoft Intune
- Experience with command-line tools
- Microsoft 365 Certified
Where You’ll Work: This is a remote role, and we are seeking someone based in the Eastern time zone to ensure coverage during those hours.
- Work Environment: You’ll need a quiet workspace that is free from distractions.
- Technology: Reliable internet connection—if you can use streaming services, you’re good to go!
- Security: Adherence to company security protocols, including the use of VPNs, secure passwords, and company-approved devices/software.
- Location: You must be US based, in a location where you can work effectively and comply with company policies such as HIPAA.
