Maintenance Worker II

Responsibilities

Work with Facility Manager in performing maintenance management and upkeep and moves between and within the various locations. May include coordinating of persons and supplies that are on contract from another agency or clients who are working in order to pay for services they are receiving from the Center. Valeo will provide all basic tools and supplies needed to perform job duties. Valeo will not be responsible for any personal tools or supplies utilized by staff. Valeo will provide a company vehicle, when necessary, that will be left at the facility at the end of each workday.

Job Requirements

Graduation from high school or GED and a minimum of 5 years of training and/or experience in basic building maintenance and upkeep. A personal vehicle is needed for local errands and travel between facilities (mileage paid), insurance for vehicle and a valid driver’s license. Be able to physically lift and/or carry a minimum of 50 pounds. Ability to work independently, good communication skills and ability to assume responsibility for tasks assigned. Must be at least 18 years of age or older and be able to pass pre-employment background checks and SRS adult/child abuse registries. This position requires basic computer skills.

Salary Range

$17.65 – $19.32 – $23.94

Hours

Mon – Fri, 8am – 5pm
