Responsibilities
This key role involves overseeing various aspects of our Quality System, ensuring its alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate Quality System audits according to the audit schedule
- Support readiness for ISO, IATF, VDA, and customer certification audits, performing pre-audits as necessary
- Conduct internal audits (Process audits – project audits, StEDE…) to identify discrepancies vs. the standard
- Prepare the Quality System Management review, providing deployment status to management staff
- Train personnel on process audits and certify them as assistant Product Quality Assurance (PQA) auditors and internal ISO/TS auditors
- Ensure Internal Procedures/Polices are aligned with Customer and Automotive industry requirements
- Coordinate Incident Management System activities
- Perform Quality reporting (Reliability, coherence, transparency)
- Organize self-assessments and pre-audits for customer audits (MMOG, Supplier Health Check, QSB etc.)
- Maintain Customer Scorecards properly
- Develop, tune, and set up process automation stations to enhance efficiency and quality performance, as well as flow management improvement and ergonomic workstations
- Prepare specifications for machines, supervise new machine start-ups, and ensure APU's organization complies with health and safety and quality rules
- Implement Plant industrial plans and prepare engineering investments (IAR's)
- Assess and receive process stations
- Responsible for process development schedules in line with CLEAN
- Respect and ensure respect of safety and Valeo Production System rules and guidelines during process development
- Improve the TRP of equipments supporting the improvement of the performance
- Propose and implement Continuous Improvement ideas, focusing on Cycle Time reduction of automated cells and bottlenecks
- Responsible for all quality and process-related documentation
- Alert managers when standards are not met
- Ensure lines have necessary equipment and spares to avoid downtime
- Work on connection of PLCs to Manufacturing Execution System, with error codes management & traceability features implementation
