Valeo North America, Inc.: Product Technical Leader for Auburn Hills, MI to design active grille shutters & front end modules; ensure sound & reliable decisions; work across functions; review RFQs for compatibility; achieve timing; review designs for conformity & completeness; create & maintain technical documents; coordinate development of designs & drawings; perform GD&T to verify requirements; release BOMs & designs; design for initiatives, cost reduction & problem-solving; communicate issues; instruct global CAD Designers; lead problem-solving for validation failures; review design information for compatibility with standards; specify & organize tests; lead reviews with suppliers. Requires Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or closely-related field and 3 yrs Engineering experience conducting tool design, technical communications with customers & GD&T; developing automotive thermal front end modules & active grille shutters; using a product lifecycle management system; adhering to project standards; and working with injection molding & electromechanical actuators. 30% travel to Highland Park, MI, Smyrna, TN & Mexico. $111,152 per year.
