Overview
We are a premier deck and patio company based in Northern Virginia, specializing in designing and building high-quality outdoor living spaces, including decks, patios, pergolas, and more. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Process Coordinator to oversee the production process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, experience in the construction or outdoor living industry, and proficiency with JobTread CRM software.
.Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of deck and patio production, from initial planning to project completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Permit Acquisition: Prepare and submit permit paperwork for applications to our permit department.
- Drawings and Plans: Coordinate with our design team to submit accurate drawings and construction plans for client approval and permitting purposes.
- Team Coordination: Meet with and schedule crews, contractors, and and/or vendors for Production planning to ensure efficient workflow and timely project delivery.
- Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates on project progress, addressing concerns, uploading progress photos, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- JobTread CRM Management: Utilize JobTread CRM to track project milestones, manage budgets, schedule tasks, and maintain clear and polite communication with team members and clients.
- Quality Control: Conduct site visits to monitor work quality, address issues, and ensure adherence to company standards and client specifications.
- Inventory and Materials: Oversee procurement of materials, ensuring availability, loss prevention, while maintaining project profitability.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols on job sites, ensuring all team members follow OSHA guidelines and company policies.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve production challenges, such as delays, and resource shortages.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience, preferably in the deck, patio, or outdoor living industry.
- Track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Northern Virginia permitting processes and local building codes, a plus!
- Proficiency with JobTread CRM software (or similar construction or sales management tools) for project tracking, scheduling, and reporting.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with clients, team members, and local authorities.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits across Northern Virginia.
- Knowledge of deck and patio construction techniques, materials, and industry trends is a plus.
Salary and Compensation Plan
- Base Salary: $50,000 - $75,000 per year depending on experience.
- Commission Structure: In addition to the base salary, the Process Coordinator will earn a commission based on project profitability and completion metrics:
- 2% commission on the net profit of each completed project.
- Annual performance revenue bonus.
