```Duties``` - Assist the orthodontist during procedures and treatments - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments - Take and record patients' vital signs - Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care - Take impressions and X-rays as directed by the orthodontist - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems such as Epic or Eaglesoft - Perform basic dental laboratory tasks, such as pouring models and fabricating retainers - Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow ```Requirements``` - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program - Current certification in dental radiography - Experience working in an orthodontic practice preferred - Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices - Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
