The Alarm Technician will work closely with clients to provide exceptional service and support.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair various alarm systems including fire alarms and security systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of alarm systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine system design requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and recommend appropriate alarm solutions.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment for installation and repairs.
- Stay updated on industry standards, including the National Electrical Code (NEC), to ensure compliance in all installations.
- Provide training to clients on the operation of their alarm systems.
- Document all service calls, installations, and repairs accurately.
Skills
- Proficiency in fire sprinkler fitting and low voltage system installation.
- Strong blueprint reading skills for effective system design implementation.
