We are seeking motivated Fire Sprinkler Fitter Helpers to assist experienced fitters in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems under the guidance of experienced fitters.
- Handle, transport, and organize tools, materials, and equipment required for installations.
- Measure, cut, and thread pipes according to specifications.
- Support fitters in securing pipes and fittings in place using various tools and techniques.
- Ensure work areas are clean and organized to maintain a safe job site.
- Follow all company and industry safety regulations and procedures.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning sprinkler systems.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, plumbing, or pipefitting is a plus but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics is preferred.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools related to pipefitting.
- Strong physical stamina; ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various environments.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior fitters.
- Basic understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
