Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in various commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and have experience working with fire sprinkler fittings, pipelines, and schematics. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our clients’ properties with local codes and standards.

Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and maintain fire sprinkler systems according to established codes and standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine installation requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on fire sprinkler systems to ensure functionality.
- Troubleshoot issues with existing systems and implement necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including HVAC technicians, to coordinate installations and repairs.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during installations.
- Thread pipes using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure secure connections.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
- Familiarity with fire sprinkler fitting techniques and pipeline installation.
- Ability to read schematics and understand codes standards related to fire safety.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Experience with HVAC systems is a plus but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
