We are seeking a skilled and dedicated skilled Satellite Technician to join our team. The Satellite Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality service and support.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure satellite systems for residential and commercial clients.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of satellite equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to satellite connectivity and service interruptions.
- Utilize hand tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters to perform installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their satellite systems.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and customer interactions.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role related to telecommunications or networking.
- Strong knowledge of Ethernet technology and computer networking principles.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and the use of hand tools for installation purposes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in network installation is highly desirable.
