Valero's Lakota ethanol plant is located in Iowa. The bio-refinery uses a dry-grind production method and state-of-the-art technology. It annually processes nearly 38 million bushels of corn into 110 million gallons of denatured ethanol and 289,000 tons of distillers grains co-products.
Oversee daily operations of an assigned area within the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control plant operations.
- Review and maintain production quality and equipment.
- Support company policies, goals, and objectives.
- Participate in projects to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Document and monitor process variables and sample data.
- Communicate with departments to ensure safe and efficient execution of daily activities.
- Troubleshoot process issues and equipment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in Process Technology or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in dry-mill ethanol plant operation preferred.
- Able and willing to work on-site at the Valero Lakota Ethanol Plant.
