Valero Renewables is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Professional to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient operation of our plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in the plant maintenance program.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production and shipping/receiving departments to coordinate maintenance activities.
- Work closely with engineering, contractors, and vendors to install new equipment and address maintenance-related issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex maintenance problems.
- Support new installations and projects as requested by supervisors.
- Stay up-to-date on city, county, state, and federal regulations related to maintenance and plant equipment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum two years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance necessary.
- Welding experience on carbon/stainless steel preferred.
- Experience in dry-mill ethanol plant maintenance functions preferred.
- Knowledge of hand and power tools preferred.
