Our team is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain plant equipment, ensuring maximum production quantity and quality while supporting company policies, goals, and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the plant maintenance program.
- Repair or replace plant equipment or systems as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities as required.
- Communicate with production and shipping/receiving departments to coordinate maintenance work.
- Collaborate with engineering, contractors, and vendors for new equipment installations.
- Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting maintenance-related issues.
- Support new installations and projects as requested by supervisor.
- Maintain knowledge of city, county, state, and federal regulations related to maintenance and plant equipment.
- Work a variable schedule with occasional overtime or call-ins.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance (pumps, valves, compressors, conveying equipment, etc.) necessary.
- Welding experience on carbon/stainless steel preferred.
- Experience in dry-mill ethanol plant maintenance functions preferred.
- Knowledge of hand and power tools preferred.
