The Plant Operations Associate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment, ensuring maximum production quantity and quality while adhering to company policies, goals, and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the plant maintenance program.
- Repair or replace plant equipment or systems as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities as required.
- Communicate with production and shipping/receiving departments to coordinate maintenance work.
- Collaborate with engineering, contractors, and vendors for new equipment installations.
- Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting maintenance-related issues.
- Support new installations and projects as requested by supervisor.
- Maintain knowledge of city, county, state, and federal regulations related to maintenance and plant equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance necessary.
- Welding experience on carbon/stainless steel preferred.
- Experience in dry-mill ethanol plant maintenance functions preferred.
- Knowledge of hand and power tools preferred.
