Lead Site Branding & Imaging Specialist - Valero Fuel Stations

Description Valero is looking for a Lead Branding Specialist to join the Wholesale Marketing team at the Valero Headquarters in San Antonio, TX. The Lead Branding Specialist is responsible for coordinating the survey, design, construction and inspection of the branding of Valero gas stations within a specific region. Daily responsibilities will include: Directs and monitors each phase of the branding project to confirm developments are moving forward timely. Identifies bottlenecks and collaborates with internal and external parties to streamline the branding process to minimize costs and meet deadlines. Reviews and approves the recommendations for reimaging wholesale sites that are made by the field sales staff members and selected installation companies. Ensures the branding at each site is compliant with the Valero branding and imaging standards and policies. Assists the Sales Teams in ensuring that the approved image standards for all stations are correctly prescribed by the field sales staff members and selected installation companies for each site that will be reimaged Works closely with the Core Team representatives and Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) to actively monitor the status of sites that are being converted to ensure that appropriate progress is being made on each conversion and help ensure that sites do not become “inactive” or get placed "on-hold” for inappropriate reasons. Assists Territory Sales Managers and other parties in resolving conversion delays that are caused by design or construction related issues. Works with Core Team representatives and TSMs in monitoring the performance (quality and speed) of installation companies and resolving site specific punch-list items. Collaborate with the TSM in developing issue resolution plans and monitoring the progress of the plan, as needed. Travels to specific sites or regions to resolve any construction issues or delays to successfully execute the branding schedule. Coordinates the assignment of the field resources to specific sites/regions to complete the field inspections. Leads “pre-construction meetings” with TSMs, distributors, and installers as needed to discuss scopes of work, schedules, processes, procedures, and protocols that will be following during the conversion process. Prepares ad hoc reports on the status of sites on an ongoing basis for Core Team representatives, senior management of the Wholesale Marketing Division and external Distributor stakeholders. Leads corporate level special projects with vendors, contractors or other internal/external stakeholders This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay. Qualifications The Wholesale Branding team is looking for a dynamic team member who is knowledgeable about the branding and construction process and possess high initiative to manage multiple projects at a time. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Qualifications for the role include: Bachelor’s degree required. 8+ years of experience in branding & imaging, construction project management, business analytics, or a related field, required. 5+ years of experience in branding and imaging required. Experience using SAP preferred. Able and willing to travel up to 15% of the time, as needed, required. Able and willing to work in-person in the San Antonio office required.
