What are the responsibilities and job description for the Terminal Support II position at Valero?
- Loads finished asphalt product for transport, and the loading roofing cartons on flat bed trailers.
- Assists in the safe and efficient maintenance of fixed equipment within assigned area.
- Possesses knowledge of all finished products being loaded.
- Trains on and assists with the milling of polymer to manufacture modified asphalts.
- Performs housekeeping duties to maintain a clean work area.
- Assists in the packaging of Rubberized Crack Sealant.
- Performs all duties requested by management.
- Lays out the pouring floor.
- Makes cartons for packaging roofing asphalt.
- Fills roofing cartons with asphalt.
- Understands employee OSHA rights as they pertain to the industrial work site and our VPP requirements.
This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.
- GED or High School diploma required
- 6 months Terminal experience required
- Asphalt terminal experience preferred
Position level and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
