The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing our Project Management and Estimating team to manage multiple excavation and commercial building construction projects during the design, permitting, construction and close-out phases. Manage a team of employees 4-6 employees to develop accurate estimates, obtain project permits, schedule and manage site development and construction maintenance projects throughout the U.S.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Ensuring all projects are of the highest quality, meeting budget and schedule goals.
- Managing relationships with Government/County/City agencies, Pre-Construction team, Subcontractors and Suppliers.
- Provide Management updates to ensure they are aware of the status on project completion dates, construction budgets and current resources.
- Work closely with the county, city and government offices to ensure permitting, licensing and inspection requirements are met
- Communicate and resolve issues in a timely manner following all department Policies and Procedures
- Travel to existing and upcoming projects to evaluate resources, site conditions, safety compliance and productivity. Project management
- - develops project plans, coordinates projects, communicates changes and progress, completes projects on time, manages Contractors and Vendors activities on the jobsite. Interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of specific construction equipment, techniques, methods, and practices for earthwork, grading, utilities, pavements and commercial building.
Requirements:
- The candidate must possess a positive, professional attitude, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and teamwork.
- Travel to sites in the U.S. approximately 20% of time.
- 10 years of experience managing Excavation & Grading, Site Development, Roadway, Utility and/or Commercial Building projects
- Understanding of Cost Control, Scheduling, Contract Management and Permitting.
