Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma.
- 5 years of relevant post education experience in discipline with prior drafting and design support experience
- Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be a team player, have a positive attitude, and be a self-starter
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- BIM/CAD certificate or an Associate’s degree in BIM/CAD, Engineering Technology or a related field
- BIM-Revit, AutoCAD or other related graphic software experience
- Knowledge of BlueBeam & Revit
Major Duties:
- Build 3D models and content, to Level of Development (LOD) specified by design team and client
- Follow guidelines driven by a BIM execution plan
- Attend design team meetings and incorporate updates
- Create electrical plans for construction from 3D building information models, including:
- Demolition plans
- Circuiting plans for electrical loads
- Lighting layout and lighting control plans with circuit information
- Telecommunications/Special systems layout plans
- Single line (2D) power and low voltage riser diagrams
- Electrical panel and equipment schedules
- Apply & manage standard view templates and families
- Manage multi-phased projects from the BIM environment
- Coordinate with other trades using 3D model – within the Revit model
- Detail plans with all necessary annotation such as: dimensioning, Keynoting and tagging
- Collaboration in ACC
- Work in a cloud environment for coordination
- Publish models to ACC services
- Manage permissions for projects
- Bluebeam Revu
- Print drawings from Revit for project review and submission
- Set up and use BlueBeam Studio sessions for redline markups
- Manage and modify sheet sets by adding/removing sheets, page labeling, creating individual and combined sheet sets
