Job Description
The Graphic Designer / Web Developer will provide expertise and ongoing support in graphics development, creation, and editing for the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) Resilient Systems Office (RSO). RSO's aim is to build integrated health care systems by developing capabilities, business models, and integrations that endure health, social, and economic crises to advance American health and wellbeing. The Graphic Designer will provide graphics support and web assistance to develop, update, and maintain a variety of visual aids integral to RSO's mission. This individual will provide essential creative support to the Program Managers and other office leadership of ARPA-H. This role requires a strong ability to interface with technical personnel; in-depth knowledge and prowess of the latest applications, design and formats; as well as proficiency in using PowerPoint to prepare preparing visual arts, including text and illustrations.
Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate design assignments, understand project requirements, set milestones to meet deadlines, and deliver exceptional service and creative solutions that meet requestor needs.
- Communicate, collaborate, problem solve, and brainstorm with colleagues regarding strategy, project scope, messaging, and any current or potential issues that may impact a project's final output.
- Provide graphics support / web assistance to develop, update, and maintain a variety of visual aids integral to the mission of the office.
- Provide graphic support to Program Managers and other office leadership.
- Create text and illustrations for highly technical programs and concepts, including 2-D and 3-D illustrations, posters, videos, and models representative of products / concept under development.
