Job Description
Valiant Harbor International is seeking a Senior HRPP Compliance Specialist to provide expertise in human research protection, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Navy (DON) policies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in reviewing human subject research, preparing assurance packages, and working with HRPP stakeholders. This position requires strong leadership and auditing skills, along with the ability to write policy and guidance documents related to human research protection.
Job Responsibilities
- Review human subject research to ensure compliance with federal regulations, including DoD / DON policies and guidelines.
- Write HRPP-related policies and guidance for Institutional Review Boards (IRBs), investigators, and other HRPP stakeholders.
- Prepare assurance packages to maintain compliance with federal research regulations.
- Conduct inspections and audits of HRPP stakeholders to ensure adherence to policies and guidelines.
- Work closely with senior leadership in DoD and DON human research protection programs to ensure the integrity and compliance of research activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address any compliance issues and provide recommendations for improvements.
- This position is contingent upon contract award
