Guard II

Valiant is seeking a skilled Guard II to work in a Full Time (FT) capacity and as an access control guard reports directly to the Site Manager or their designated representative.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Controlling all access to the building.
• Will confirm security status of all individuals who enter the building and issue the required badge.
• Update and maintain an accurate security clearance lists when provided by the appropriate authorities.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain a confident demeanor at all times while dealing with high volumes of customer through puts / traffic, daily conflict scheduling resolution.
• Ability to maintain extreme professionalism and positive customer service skills interfacing with the Government customer, to include Senior Military Leadership as well as industry partners.
• Will be responsible for the cleanliness of the guard station.
• Answering the telephone and responding to requests Compile simulator schedule data
• Maintain access logbooks Responsible to report any irregularities or problems to the Site Manager for resolution.
• The access control guard will perform other tasks as assigned by the Site Manager or their designated representative

• A High School diploma or equivalent certification.
• Requires mental alertness and ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time, and to climb two (2) stairs is required.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Must present a professional appearance in dress and demeanor at all times.
• Must be able to work well with all levels of Military and Civilian personnel.
• Must be computer literate and be able to use and access basic computer programs (Microsoft products, Excel, PDF, etc.)
• Applicant must be a US Citizen, possess the ability to secure a US Passport, must have and maintain a valid driver's license from the State in which employed.
• Applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to receive and maintain a SECRET clearance for access to classified information.
