Operations Manager

This position is a full time Exempt (salary) position, supporting the ARNG Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP). The Operations Manager assists the MTC Site Manager and the MTC S3 Operations Officer in the execution of all training functions within the Mission Training Complex (MTC).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Responsible for the management and scheduling of all Live, Virtual, Constructive and Gaming (LVC-G) capabilities and activities associated with MCTSP contract in support of MTC operations.
• Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned projects and tasks.
• Coordinates the conduct of MC staff training events that replicate a realistic training environment.
• Responsible for providing technical, administrative, and operational resourcing of assigned projects, including subordinate Teams.
• Conducts regular and thorough reviews of travel and associated data for scheduled travel.
• Reviews, corrects and approves CDRLs submitted to the Government for approval.
• Coordinates development of deliverables and products including development of monthly summary reports in support of the site manager.
• Conducts planning and provides training reports, and products to the MTC Staff on task workload.
• Supervises all aspects of Exercise scheduling, Security Operations, Facility Access Control, Travel Planning, in support of the Mission Training Complex
• Responsible for maintaining the MTC Long Range Training Calendar and ensuring coordination is conducted with the MTC leadership regarding training events.
• Provides leadership and direction across all MCTSP training teams in the absence of the Site Manager in support of the MTC S3.
• Ensures Unit Leadership understands MTC capabilities in regards to operations, training, technical support, simulations and distribution methodologies.
• Assists in the implementation and enforcement of data governance, information management, and security rules.
• Interacts and effectively communicates with corporate and customer management to determine planning needs, and reporting requirements.
• Coordinates with Site Manager and Program Analyst to ensure accuracy of all MIS data.
• Reports to the MTC Site Manager. Routinely coordinates with the MCTSP Senior Operations Manager and Assistant Operations Manager.

• Demonstrated experience with military training and training support.
• Experience in training management at Battalion or high level.
• Basic knowledge of management and development of databases and qualitative/quantitative research methods.
• Must be able to obtain andmaintaina security clearance and meet other eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• AS/AA degree with eight (8) years' experience, BA/BS with five (5) years' experience (Preferred), subject immaterial.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
