We are currently looking for a Program Security Manager (PSO) to provide overall protection of classified and unclassified information in support of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM)
priorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Work closely with the (USINDOPACOM) Special Access Program Security Manager (SAPSM) to ensure that the J3
programs and facilities are in compliance with Joint Staff and INDOPACOM security directions, guidance, and
oversight
Assist in the implementation of Joint Staff and DIA directed improvements to current guidance and regulation; assist the INDOPACOM SAPSM in the evaluation of current and future requirements for J3X SAP facilitiesCoordinate Joint Staff approved construction or modification to the J3X SAP facilityPrepare the J3X SAP facility for INDOPACOM SAFPSM SAP security inspections / staff assistance visits (SAVs).The candidate will also manage initial and annual review of personnel security clearance information for Division personnel above and beyond Sensitive Compartmented Access requirementsThe candidate will also support security requirements for USINDOPACOM J3X security during exercisesMaintain SCI policies and procedures by developing and advising on revisions to current policy and proceduresEnsure Division personnel requiring a periodic reinvestigation of their security clearance have the required access, and will provide training for personnel to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to safeguard and protect highly sensitive classified information and know how to apply the appropriate security classification markingsInspect SAP-F in the INDOPACOM AOR (specifically Japan and S. 10 years of combined experience working in the Department of Defense (DOD)3 years of experience in the DoD in a related field (security or management of classified programs)Knowledge of national-level agency security processes, procedures, and requirements in order to develop and maintain a comprehensive security programs for USINDOPACOM and componentsExperience working on projects at multiple classification levels and compartments that require access to a Special AccessProgram Facility (SAPF)
Knowledge of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) standards and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) as apply in the protection of highly classified programsAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in order to provide information, training, and operational support to the DivisionProficiency in MS Office Applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Must have an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, Candidate may be subject to a counter-intelligence polygraph for work in sensitive activitiesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
BA / BS Degree in a related field preferred2 years of experience working in the USINDOPACOM AOR SSO certificationKnowledge of USINDOPACOM Headquarters structure and processes
