Valiant Integrated Services has an exciting opportunity for a Submarine Tactical Oceanography (TACO) Mid-Level Analyst supporting the Undersea Warfighting Development Center (UWDC) in Groton, CT. UWDC, under the direction of Commander, Submarine Forces (COMSUBFOR), leads undersea superiority and enables the combat lethality and desired effects generated from, and within, the Undersea Domain.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
- Provide research and analysis of the ocean environment to advance the Submarine Force’s understanding of and ability to exploit acoustic phenomenon.
- Help define and implement processes that take tactical oceanography capability and integrate them into the fleet.
- Recommend improvements in submarine sensing, operator and crew readiness training, tactics evolution, and data collection.
- Liaise between warfighting and technical communities.
- Travel approximately 5-10 occasions per year to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION : Bachelor’s Degree, advanced degree preferred, in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
CLEARANCE : Active TS / SCI
