What are the responsibilities and job description for the TTP Red Cyber Researcher position at Valiant Integrated Services?
Valiant Integrated Services has an exciting opportunity for a TTP Red Cyber Researcher supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s (DTRA) Advance Red Cyber program in executing Red Team Assessments. Red Teams perform assessments from an adversarial viewpoint and use the full spectrum of identified adversarial capabilities, limited only by restrictions mandated by the customer and legal, safety, and security constraints, to test and evaluate protection strategies and demonstrate exploitation of identified vulnerabilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Research, identify and creatively thinking about novel TTPs that can be integrated into DCART red cyber operations
- Other duties as assigned.

CLEARANCE: Top Secret (TS), TS/SCI preferred.
Required Skills:
- 1 years of experience as a researcher.
- Knowledgeable about adversarial TTPs actively being utilized to ensure DCART’s adversarial emulation capabilities remain current and
relevant to the modern cyber landscape. - Creatively think about potential new TTPs and how adversaries might deploy them against DoD targets.
- Ability to support active DCART operations with real-time TTP development against unique targets or network defenses
Desired Skills:
- 1 years' experience working with advanced cyber red teams which include adversarial emulation or developing TTPs for offensive cyber operations.
- Strong research skills, both utilizing open-source resources and classified intelligence reporting.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Typical office environment, extensive domestic and international travel, and extreme weather conditions. Sitting, walking, talking, hearing, reading, writing, keyboarding, driving, filing, reaching, stooping, crouching, bending, standing for extended periods of time, lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds.
