Job Summary
Valiant Recovery is a Christian based addiction and mental health treatment center that provides quality private in patient treatment. Our focus is to provide top notch, individualized, affordable high quality treatment in a comfortable atmosphere. Valiant Recovery Florida is a new facility located in Punta Gorda Florida, located 1.5 hrs south of Tampa, and 40 minutes north of ft. Myers. We provide treatment for both men and women (separately), focusing on one on one sessions and SMALL circle groups rather than large classroom settings.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Complete detailed client assessments, and case notes
- Provides private counseling for inpatient and outpatient clients in recovery center.
- Provides aftercare which includes, face to face, phone and / or video calls for each client once they have left program.
- Assists the client in developing aftercare plans, case management, family contracts, etc.
- Adherence to program policies and procedures.
- Shares pertinent information with team as obtained from patients or family throughout program.
- Provides liaison services between patient and family, significant other(s), referral source(s), interventionists, case workers, and other service providers.
- May provide some Family / Marriage counseling.
- Reports to Clinical Director.
- Complying with State/Federal and/or Certification/Licensure training requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum Masters Degree in related field.
- State licensing in addiction and or Mental health treatment_
- 2 years of experience working with addiction or Mental health_ _
- Experience working in a in-patient care facility an asset_ _
- If candidate is in recovery themselves, requires a minimum of 5 years of abstinence from drugs and alcohol to be eligible for this position._ _
- Excellent communication skills_ _
- Have valid drivers licence, with a clean driving record, and reliable vehicle._ _
- Have a criminal check done_ _
- Be able to pass drug and Alcohol tests at any time._ _
- Be able to work at a moments notice, in emergency situation_
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
