What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver- Personal/Alternative Vehicle Program position at Valiant Transport Inc?
Valiant Transportation is quickly hiring numerous Delivery Drivers for the coveted AVP Program drivers around the greater Ashland/Shamokin/ Mt. Carmel/ Minersville PA areas. This Alternative Vehicle Program (or AVP Program) for FedEx Contractors where AVP Drivers only deliver small packages (about 5lbs on average) in high density areas.

Typical Work Hours:
- 2-6 Days a week (your preference)
- 3-8hr shifts, typically starting between 9:30 and 11 am.
Pay Rate:
- Paid by stop @ $1.50 per stop.
- Expect to make $20-$40/hr. when efficiently following route plans.
- Paid Weekly on Fridays via Direct Deposit.

Delivery Driver Requirements:
- Prior job-related driving experience is preferred but not required
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug test (paid for by company)
- Must be able to use an approved, reliable and safe delivery vehicle (SUV's, Trucks with Closed Cabs, Vans, large Sedans etc.)
- Must be able to move and carry packages. Packages will weigh mostly between 2-10lbs.
