Role Description
As a Finance Associate at Valitana you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our finance operations. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll be part of a dynamic team and responsible for such key activities as:

Role Description
As a Finance Associate at Valitana you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our finance operations. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll be part of a dynamic team and responsible for such key activities as:
- Post and manage data in the accounting software system with accuracy and attention to detail
- Perform cash and other subledger account reconciliations
- Review and process Accounts Payables
- Review and process Accounts Receivable invoices and payment receipts
- Communicate with vendors regarding payables
- Communicate with clients regarding receivables
- Record and review journal entries, reconcile accounts and generate monthly financial reports for management
- Ad hoc analysis projects
- Other duties as assigned
- Correspond with and support external auditors
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Hands-on experience with SaaS Accounting software
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience with Sage Intacct
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP, and how it applies to a SaaS environment
