About the role
The Senior Scientist is the right fit for a motivated scientist that is excited to be part of a growing business and is passionate about finding insights in data through the scientific method. We are looking for candidates who are interested in analyzing data, developing models based on that data, and transforming the outputs of those models to valuable insights. As a Senior Scientist you should have strong and diverse machine learning model development skills as well as good experience in algorithmic development and statistical analysis. You have demonstrated scientific excellence and aptitude for innovation. Senior Scientist are responsible for model ideation, prototyping, development and implementation. The right candidate for this role will be able to leverage statistical and engineering skills to transform data into actionable insights.
Senior Data Scientist Qualifications

- Bachelor's or master's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field
- 4 years of professional experience in a scientific or engineering role or 2 years of experience plus a Master"s Degree
- 4 years of experience with Python
- 3 years of Machine Learning model development
- 2 years of SQL in a professional setting
- 2 years of s cikit-learn
- Ability to quickly comprehend an algorithm or machine learning method and apply to business domain challenges
- Experience with Visualization tools : Plotly, Matplotlib, Seaborn, ggplot, etc.
- Strong experience in various fields of advanced mathematics : Statistics, Linear Algebra, Graph Theory, etc
- Strong experience in effective collaboration and technical problem solving within multidisciplinary teams
- Government security clearance or willingness to obtain a security clearance
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills along with experience in preparing and delivering documentation, proposals, presentations, and structured working sessions to all levels in a client organization
- Consulting experience is a plus
- Experience building models for real-time deployment ( like to have)
- S ome experience with LLMs OR Computer Vision ( like to have)
