Lead Mental Health Technician Adult 2/3 Unit (Nights)
Position Summary
The Lead Mental Health Technician works under the direct supervision of the Milieu Manager to provide clerical and patient care activities in the treatment and care of patients with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions. Manages behavioral problems and facilitates education and activity groups. Actively participates as a member of the treatment team and performs other duties as assigned. Serves in a lead capacity with Mental Health Technicians. Serve as OJT preceptor under UC and MM direction.
Hours: 11:00p - 7:30a (Must work every other weekend)
Location: 898 East Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana 46142

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: minimum 5 years’ experience in milieu management; experience working with specialized populations such as victims of human trafficking, LGBTQ youth, complex trauma, and substance abuse; knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques, knowledge and understanding of mental illness.
Licensure: Must maintain a valid driver's license.
