Since 1983, Valle Vista Health System, a 132 bed facility located in Greenwood, Indiana, has been providing high-quality behavioral health care to the community. We offer care for a broad range of psychiatric and addiction disorders. We provide care to adults, and to patients as young as age five. Our programs include inpatient, outpatient and medication-assisted treatment for adults, and residential and inpatient treatment for children and adolescents. Qualifications

Duties/Responsibilities:  The Outpatient Skills Development Specialist is responsible for providing training and education for clients and families in an outpatient setting to assist with cultivating skills that will improve their overall emotional and behavioral functioning.  The cultivation of skills will be provided in a group setting, either in person or through telehealth modalities. The Skills Development Specialist will be required to possess strong interpersonal skills related to creatively and efficiently connecting and building rapport with adolescent and school aged youth. 

Education/Licensure:  Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related behavioral health field. 

Experience/ Required Skills:  Experience conducting education groups and providing age appropriate interventions to promote overall health with adolescent and school age children.  Effective oral and written communication skills; organized and efficient to complete timely documentation; ability to relate to and maintain positive relationships with adolescents. 

Additional Requirements:  CPR certification, Verbal De-escalation Training, HWC Certification, valid driver's license.  

Hours:  Monday thru Friday, 9am-530pm
