- Provide direct patient care, including hospice care and catheter care, ensuring comfort and dignity for patients.
- Monitor and record vital signs, documenting any changes in patient conditions.
- Assist in memory care and dementia care activities, promoting cognitive engagement and emotional support.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Support patients with disabilities by providing tailored assistance during their treatment.
- Conduct routine medical office tasks, including maintaining accurate patient records and managing appointments.
- Utilize knowledge of physiology to assist in the assessment of patients' health status.
Requirements
- Proven experience in caregiving or as a Medical Technician is preferred.
- Knowledge of hospice care, catheter care, vital signs monitoring, and dementia care practices.
- Familiarity with working with people with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
