Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Operational FulfillmentDirectly engage in restocking vending machines, VMI cabinets, and toolcribs, ensuring that inventory levels align with set standards.
- Customer InteractionProvide first-hand assistance to onsite customer queries, resolving any immediate concerns related to inventory or tool usage.
- Asset & Inventory HandlingEnsure accurate logging and tracking of inventory used, restocked, or requested, adhering to Vallen's inventory management protocols.
- KPI AwarenessMaintain awareness of key performance indicators and collaborate with the Supply Chain Services Manager to ensure KPI goals are met.
- Stock Out MitigationProactively identify and address potential stockouts during vending/VMI fills and work closely with the Supply Chain Services Manager and Account Manager to implement solutions.
- Compliance & ReportingAdhere to Vallen's inventory protocols, cycle counts, and report discrepancies or deviations as observed.
- Collaborative SupportCollaborate closely with the Supply Chain Services Manager and Coordinator to execute on-site operational strategies and initiatives.
- Continuous LearningStay updated with the latest inventory management tools, techniques, and best practices to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent, complemented by 1 years of experience in inventory management, distribution, or similar roles.
- Technical ProficiencyFamiliarity with vendor-managed inventory systems, vending machines, and general supply chain operations.
- Customer FocusA service-oriented mindset, with an emphasis on understanding and catering to customer requirements.
- Analytical AptitudeAbility to quickly assess inventory levels, identify potential issues, and provide solutions.
