What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custom Applicator position at Valley Ag Supply?
Job responsibilities are, but not limited to, accurately running application equipment, both liquid and dry to cover customers’ fields. Dry machines are four wheeled Terragators with 70’ booms, sprayers would be 40 series Case IH with 120’ booms. Mechanical experience would be preferred, as the applicant would be in charge of maintaining their machine to the best of their ability. Ability to obtain applicators license is required. If you don’t already have a license, we can assist with that process. We would like you to have a CDL or be able to get one (we will help with obtaining one). Must have a clean driving record. Must be willing to work extended hours in the spring and summer with lots of overtime. There will be shop work in the winter in a new and well-equipped shop. We are a family friendly and team-oriented business. Most of our staff have been with us from 5 to 20 years. We are a growing business and need more good people. There are always opportunities to be promoted within. Experience would be great but is not required, we will train the right person. This is a full-time position with benefits, overtime, holidays, acre bonus, etc. Pay depending on experience.
