Summary
Responsible for maintaining pharmaceutical dispensing functions, including clinical review functions, in accordance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Provides pharmaceutical care and products to all neonate, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including inpatients and outpatients. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
Required: Pharm D. or Graduate of accredited College of Pharmacy
Experience
Required: Pharmacy experience
Preferred: Hospital experience
Certifications
Required: Possession of current Texas State Board of Pharmacy License
Preferred: IV Admixture Certification, Board certification in any therapeutic area
BLS - At hire or obtain w/in 5 working days before assuming patient care
