Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Draught Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of draught systems. You will work closely with experienced technicians to learn the skills necessary to provide exceptional service to our clients and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of draught systems at client locations, including bars, restaurants, and other venues.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of draught lines, faucets, and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality of dispensed beverages.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with draught systems, such as line blockages, temperature inconsistencies, and CO2 leaks.
- Replace components, including valves, regulators, couplers, and refrigeration units.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure proper carbonation levels, temperature control, and taste of dispensed beverages.
- Educate clients and staff on best practices for draught system operation and maintenance.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in draught systems is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn about draught system operations and maintenance.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems is desirable.
- Effective communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
- Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy kegs and equipment.
- Capacity to work in confined spaces and climb ladders as needed.
- Stamina to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time.
