Valley Cabinet Inc. is looking for a 1st shift Project Estimator! Starting at $20/hr based on experience!
Work Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday-Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm & Friday: 7:00am - 1pm

What you will do:
The Project Estimator is responsible for estimating the cost of material and labor required to build and install custom cabinetry base on provided drawings and project information.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understanding Valley Cabinet products and offerings
- Collaborating with other Project Estimators and internal personnel to problem solve the best and most accurate way to estimate a project
- Reading and understanding cabinet and room drawings provided by designers and project managers
- Preparing a complete and accurate sales estimate for customer/builders using the specifications from the design layout, blueprints, and worksheets
- Utilizing Microsoft Excel to type and calculate estimate totals
- Utilizing Microsoft Excel to obtain job numbers and record project details
- Writing up professional estimates to send to customers
- Bi-Weekly filing of completed estimates in proper locations
- Attending weekly team meetings to ensure processes and procedures are efficient and accurate
- Attending monthly division meetings to learn about any changes or important information about Valley Cabinet
What you need:
- Knowledge of cabinet design and construction is a plus, but not required
- Associates degree preferred
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- A self-starter who is able to work with minimal supervision
