What you will do:
- Build positive relationship with students.
- Works under the direct supervision on the principal.
- Utilizing appropriate methods/materials to help students succeed.
- Promote safety and well-being
- Follow and manage lesson plan(s) left by teacher and ensure students complete assignments.
- Aide classroom teacher in an IA positions where appropriate.
- You may assist to maintain class and student records.
- Other duties as appropriate to support the school and students.
What you will need:
- Have a Bachelor Degree
- Current Teaching Certificate in the state of Oregon
- Have previous classroom teaching experience at the primary level
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to work harmoniously with others.
- Willingness to think outside of the box; very energetic; a motivator.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to meet time constraints.
- Proficient in the use of computer and internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications.
- Maintain integrity or confidential information relating to students, staff, and families.
