Middle School Science Teacher
Valley Catholic Middle School is seeking a Full-time Teaacher passionate about educating and opening the world of science to middle school students.
Job Requirements:

Hold a current Oregon Teaching License with a middle-level endorsement or a degree in science or a related field

Plan and implement laboratory-based science lessons in accordance with Oregon state, Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), and Archdiocesan standards

Create engaging lessons and laboratory activities that develop students critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Evaluate and assess student performance and progress

Establish a positive learning environment

Manage student behavior to provide an optimal and safe learning environment

Salary Range: for this position is $38,757 (for a first-year teacher with a Bachelor's degree) to $56,359 (for a teacher with seven years or more experience and a Master's degree).
